The Age of Enlightenment is an expansive 3-D printed art installation featuring a series of 8′ columns that explores themes of religion and conflict in a whimsical, tongue-in-cheek way. Originally crafted from ceramic using commercially available molds, this colonnade juxtaposes sacred motifs with images of movie stars, bunny rabbits, and Disney characters. The installation evokes the atmosphere of a visit to a holy shrine, inviting viewers to reflect on the interplay between the sacred and the profane.
