
SOFIA RODRIGUEZ BRAVO is a driven senior at San Diego State University, where she is pursuing a degree in Business Marketing with a focus on Integrated Marketing Communications. Born and raised in Cali, Colombia, Sofia developed a deep appreciation for the diverse and rich forms of cultural expression, and she is passionate about the importance of doing so fearlessly and unapologetically. Her academic background has equipped her with a strong foundation in branding, digital marketing, and marketing research, and she is eager to apply this skill set to highlight the creative forces that shape San Diego’s vibrant personality. Additionally, her experience working in sales and event planning has given her valuable insight into consumer behavior and community outreach. Outside of her academic and professional life, Sofia loves to immerse herself in all that San Diego has to offer. Whether she’s visiting local art galleries and museums, discovering new restaurants and coffee shops, or spending time by the beach, she embraces every opportunity to connect with the city’s artistic and dynamic spirit. Through her work, she hopes to contribute to elevating San Diego’s thriving arts and culture scene, ensuring its creative forces are heard and celebrated.

ADRIANNA XIBILLE is a local San Diego artist, educator, and visual storyteller who creates emotionally rich and culturally inspired work. Rooted in her Hispanic heritage, her art reflects a love for vibrant narratives and a desire to uplift underrepresented voices. Her multidisciplinary practice includes illustration, graphic design, and animation, all guided by a passion for storytelling and connection. While continuing to grow her creative work, Adrianna has expanded into teaching, sharing her love of art and storytelling with young creatives. Whether through visuals, narrative, or mentorship, she is committed to making meaningful connections and inspiring the next generation of artists.

MELISSA ZUAZO is a recent Cal State San Marcos graduate, with a degree in communication and minors in art history and sustainability. An active member of the San Diego art scene, Melissa volunteers at the San Diego Museum of Art, Mingei International, San Diego International Film Festival, and was named Intern of the Year in 2024 by Fashion Week San Diego. These positions have allowed her to gain experience in email marketing, front-of-house operations, and the inner workings of museum research libraries.
She aspires to work in sustainable fashion, focusing on artistic direction and ethical marketing. In alignment with her goals, Melissa spent a summer studying Fashion Communication in London at Central Saint Martins, where she had the opportunity to collaborate with students from diverse backgrounds and hopes to return to pursue her MA degree. Passionate about making art accessible for all, Melissa looks forward to using her communication and marketing knowledge to support Vanguard Culture’s mission in advancing San Diego’s creative industries.
