TEXTILE ART | SUNSCAPES | NOSTALGIA | CLIMATE AWARENESS | COLORFUL
“Los Tendederos” is a large-scale textile art installation that explores the use of natural resources, such as sunlight, for drying our clothes. The work comprises 20 pieces resembling various garments hanging on a clothesline. Each piece is a reproduction of the artist’s own clothing, painted with vibrant acrylic colors over cotton fabric. The installation serves as a reflection of lifestyle choices and encourages a more mindful approach to our daily activities, but aims to evoke a sense of tradition, reminiscent of childhood memories playing in a grandmother’s backyard.
