The Rosin Box Project presents a site-specific and immersive performance that is centered around connection, and the interplay of dance, music, and technology. “Kinetic Symphonies” will fuse imagination with technology, coupling originally choreographed dance with music tech designed to transform movement into sound to create a multi-sensory and ‘living’ experience. In this experimental dance performance installation, TRBP dancers are transformed into living conductors of music and light. Using specialty motion sensors, TRBP performers will utilize eight different motion parameters to control and trigger sound, informing the accompanying music with their movement. “Kinetic Symphony” goes beyond traditional performance arts. It’s a synthesis of movement, music, and light, an experience that transcends the boundaries of dance and concert, offering a new language of expression.
