SACRA/PROFANA is super pleased to present Sliding Glass Doors, an immersive choral concert exploring the depth and legacy of Black American music through the personal lens of composer, arranger, and gospel scholar Dr. Brandon Waddles. The program features a compelling blend of gospel, spirituals, and musical theater, including works composed or arranged by Waddles, who currently serves as the Associate Music Director for the National Broadway Tour of The Wiz.
Artistic Director Juan Carlos Acosta calls Waddles “an artist, professional, and scholar of the highest caliber,” and this concert marks a major moment in the ensemble’s evolution.
