The INTIKA exhibition highlights the rich and evolving tradition of male textile artists, from the master weavers of Taquile, Peru, to contemporary creators redefining the medium. On view are diverse works that incorporate unconventional materials, sculpture, and installation art. The show explores the role of textiles in storytelling, healing, politics, and gender identity across cultures. Recognized by UNESCO, Taquile’s textile legacy anchors the exhibit’s historical context. Curated by Armando Garcia-Orso and Natalie Gonzalez.
