Join the Museum of Photographic Arts at SDMA for a special evening of film and conversation, co-hosted by Medium Photo, featuring two powerful documentaries by emerging female filmmakers: A Photographic Memory and Ben Between Africa. Both films delve into themes of intergenerational connection, identity, and memory told through the lens of family archives and personal histories. A night thoughtfully curated to foster connection among San Diego’s visual storytellers, centered on the images and personal narratives that shape us. A special guest will host and moderate the evening, including a conversation with the filmmakers following the screenings.
